Septic System Installations We Specialize In

Ecoflo

A peat-based tertiary treatment system that filters wastewater through a natural medium, delivering high-quality effluent ideal for properties with limited space or sensitive soil conditions.

Waterloo Biofilter

A foam-based aerobic treatment unit that provides advanced effluent treatment for sites where conventional systems aren't sufficient due to soil limitations or regulatory requirements.

Raised Sand Beds

An elevated sand filter system designed for properties with high water tables or shallow soil depth, allowing proper treatment and dispersal above the native ground level.

Type-A Dispersal Beds

A conventional leaching bed system suited for standard residential properties with adequate soil conditions, providing reliable long-term effluent dispersal into the surrounding ground.

Shallow Buried Trench

A low-profile dispersal system suited for properties with high water tables or restrictive bedrock, utilizing biologically active upper soil layers to provide reliable, high-quality effluent treatment and dispersal.

Septic system components and wiring are installed on a concrete slab outside a house under construction, with soil and equipment visible around the site.

How a New Septic System Installation Works

Initial Consultation & Property Review

We start by gathering information about your property — lot size, bedroom count, square footage, proposed bed location, proximity to wells or pools, and any known site challenges. From there, we schedule a site visit to walk the property, assess soil conditions, confirm feasibility, and determine whether a conventional system or a tertiary system such as Ecoflo or Waterloo Biofilter is the right fit. You’ll receive a clear, honest recommendation before any commitment is made.

Once the system type is confirmed and a deposit is received, we coordinate the full design and submit all permit applications to your local municipality on your behalf. We manage the paperwork, respond to any municipal questions, and schedule required inspections. We keep you updated throughout so you’re never in the dark about where your approval stands.

With permits approved and installation day scheduled, our crew arrives to complete the full build. We begin with precision excavation of the tank area and bed, followed by tank placement and levelling, bed or trench preparation and installation, and all plumbing connections from the house outlet through to the dispersal field. For advanced systems, this includes all components specific to your Ecoflo or Waterloo Biofilter unit. Every connection is inspected prior to backfill and photo documented throughout.

Once installation is complete, we coordinate the final municipal inspection and complete all required sign-offs. From there, we backfill, grade the site, and fully restore the work area. Your property is left clean, properly graded, and ready — with no mess, no debris, and no unfinished edges. We provide a complete photo record of the finished installation for your records.

Common Questions About Septic System Installation

Do you offer septic system installation across Essex County, or just certain areas?

We serve the full Essex County region, including Windsor, LaSalle, Amherstburg, Tecumseh, Lakeshore, Essex, Kingsville, and Leamington. Whether you’re building on a rural lot outside of Kingsville or developing a property in LaSalle, we handle the full installation in-house — design, permits, excavation, and site restoration — without subcontracting any part of the work.

To give you a realistic price range, we need your property address and lot size, whether it’s new construction or a replacement, the square footage and total bedroom count of the home, your fixture count, the proposed location of the septic bed, whether there’s a pool or well on the property, and photos or a rough sketch of the yard if available. The more detail you can provide upfront, the more accurate our estimate will be. We’ll walk you through anything you’re unsure of.

A conventional septic system uses a tank and a standard leaching bed to treat and disperse wastewater. A tertiary septic system adds an advanced treatment stage — systems like Ecoflo and Waterloo Biofilter filter effluent to a much higher standard before it reaches the dispersal field. Tertiary systems are typically required when a property has limited space, challenging soil conditions, high water tables, or proximity to wells or water bodies. They’re also sometimes required by municipal regulations regardless of site conditions. We’ll assess your property and let you know exactly which type is required and why.

Septic installation does require excavation, so there will be disruption to the work area during the process. However, site restoration and final grading are included in every installation we complete. Once the system is in and inspected, we backfill all excavated areas, grade the surface, and clean up the site thoroughly before we leave. Our background in full-scale excavation means we take grading seriously — your yard will be left in the best possible condition, not just covered over and forgotten.
